Action! Counseling is one of the several agencies through which the Action Foundation provides services to the community: A Center for Healing specializes in healing the effects of past and current trauma and loss. The areas affected can include: A general sense of not feeling quite right, all the way up to post traumatic Stress disorder, relationship problems, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, grief and anger. Please call. Everyday we face problems and challenges. Sometimes things can become confusing and overwhelming. Sometimes we feel lost, isolated, puzzled or perplexed. Sometimes our emotional health affects our physical health. Sometimes we need the counsel of others who know how to help. Action! Counseling works with pastors, physicians, lawyers, human services, Certified Substance Abuse Addictions Counselors, Professional Licensed Counselors and others in the community to assure quality of care and integrated services. We have a wide range of counseling services available to the public, with special programs to help economically and otherwise disadvantaged members of the community to receive counseling services at low or no cost. We help with facilitating reintegration into the community through creative employment and education interventions. We provide opportunities for success-oriented activities and volunteerism.
